Operation of Bluetooth is normally one of the following mentioned three security modes. Serve level security is provided once the channel gets established. Link level security is provided before the commencement of channel. In order to establish the communication channel an initialization key is needed for which PIN is input. Thereby the link key is calculated which is then used to authenticate the process. In order to prevent hackers from hacking the system the PAN Key should be long, so that the link key is not easily discovered .using a Bluetooth address one can identify a particular device and one can come to know the personal transactions. It provides very good security to users.
