Security Standards

Security has played a key part in the innovation of Bluetooth. There are three method of security service like link level enforced security, non-secure and service level enforced security. In non-secure, the device does not commence several protection actions. In the check level obligatory security mode, two Bluetooth devices can found a non secure asynchronous attachment less link. Security procedures, namely authentication, authorization and optional encryption, are initiated when a Logical Link Control and Adaptation Protocol, Connection-Oriented or Connection-Less channel request is made. Bluetooth technology is commonly used for mobile devices with headsets or for wirelessly networking PCs with mice and printers. It is working on two new standards that will make the technology both faster and more energy-efficient. The low energy Bluetooth standard will open up a lot of possibilities. With the new low energy mode there is the potential to build sensors that we can talk to the mobile phone and be controlled remotely.
