Knowledge about Bluetooth Operation

The technology is an arrangement of Bluetooth devices and networks. It is a group of devices connected via Bluetooth technology. It is a simple connection between two devices or more than two devices. Any of the devices is used for multiplexing. The Bluetooth system sustains both point-to-point and point-to-multi-point connections. When a device is connected to another device it is a point to point connection. A piconet starts with two connected devices, such as a handy PC and cellular phone, and may grow to eight connected devices. If a device is connected to more than one piconet, then it communicates in each piconet using a different hopping sequence. All the other devices in a piconet that are not the master are slave units. Also there can be parked units which are synchronized but do not have a MAC addresses. These parked units have an 8 bit address; therefore there can be an utmost of 256 parked devices. All users are participating on the same piconet are synchronized to this hopping sequence. All Bluetooth devices are peer units and have the same implementations. The Bluetooth base band protocol is an arrangement of circuit and packet switching. In a piconet there is a master unit and hopping sequence are used to synchronize in all other devices.
